2x2 is a design collaborative guided by the visions and design concepts of Jennifer Bassett and David Tyl.
Jennifer Bassett is curently employed as an Intern Architect and posses over 6 years of professional experience in design / build and architecture. Her extensive training includes a Master of Architecture degree from the University of Calgary, an undergraduate degree in Art from the Alberta College of Art and Design, as well as a Master in Art Education from Concordia University in Montreal. Prior to her work in architecture, Jennifer had worked in various streams of art education and developing art installations.
Currently employed as an Architect with the Alberta Association of Architects (AAA), David Tyl possesses over eight years of professional experience in the architecture field, working as a designer in Berlin, Germany, Calgary and currently in Vancouver. He attended and successfully completed the Dalhousie University's Master of Architecture program, spending one year in Germany at the Peter Behrens School of Architecture (PBSA). David also holds a Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Design from Dalhousie, and a Bachelor's Degree in Philosophy from the University of Calgary.
